History of Riverset Credit Union in Pittsburgh, PA

Riverset Credit Union is one of Pittsburgh’s largest credit unions and has been in existence since 1934. What is now known as Riverset was once Pittsburgh Teachers Credit Union – originally only accessible to those within the Pittsburgh Public School System.

Today, community members who live, work, regularly conduct business, worship, and attend school in Allegheny, Beaver and Butler Counties are eligible for credit union membership to Riverset, as well as other businesses and legal entities. Riverset’s membership is comprised of community members within those three counties, as well as their family members and numerous partner organizations in our region.
