Volunteering at Emmaus

Riverset staff spent a few hours with the residents at The Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh home in the South Side. The Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh serves persons with intellectual disabilities and autism and promotes public awareness of their needs. Staff gardened to beautify the property for the residents and helped the coordinators prepare for their upcoming gala/fundraiser. Spending time with the individuals at Emmaus is always a rewarding and enriching experience.

Riverset helps fill student lending gap with private student loans

Congratulations to our UGLY Contest Winners!

Almost 600 people voted in our UGLY Blog contest.  First place winners are Mark & Melissa Heinbockel.  Second place goes to Kelly Crawshaw and Third place goes to Ellen Botkin.  Their entries were truly UGLY!   Check them out on our blog.

Bowling for Kids Sake

For the third consecutive year, Riverset staff fundraised for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh and participated in the Bowl for Kids Sake event at Funfest in Harmarville.  Staff raised $3,000 bringing the three year total to over $10,000!

Diamond Awards

Riverset topped the list of Pennsylvania Credit Unions in the CUNA Marketing and Business Development 2011 Diamond Awards having received four awards for their 2011 marketing efforts.  Riverset received Categories Best in Email Marketing and three Diamond Awards in the Brand Awareness, Community/PR Program and Membership Packets and Brochure categories. 

Family Fun at Kidapalooza

For the second year in a row, Riverset was the proud sponsor of the Family Photo Booth at Kidapalooza held at the Convention Center.  What better way to remember a day with your family than to capture it with a photo.

We love to volunteer at Light of Life Mission

We enjoyed volunteering at Light of Life mission so much over the holidays that we went back!  February 13th was the first of two visits we'll make to the mission this month to help feed the homeless.

Riverset introduces Student Banking solutions

It's never too early to learn financial responsibility.  Riverset is introducing its new Student Banking program for young adults which includes student checking, VISA's, the Elements of Money Program and coming soon - private student loans!
