At Riverset, we feel a deep connection to the community and want to make a difference. As evidenced by our mission and core values Riverset believes in being a responsible neighbor. We regularly participate in and sponsor various events and volunteerism initiatives to better the quality of life for those around us.
These are just a few fun facts regarding something of which you may never pay attention to but can be so important. Every year, hundreds of familites from all over the world face the experience of having their child hospitalized in Pittsburgh for a serious illness. The Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House, for over 30 years, has served more than 11,000 families regardless of their ability to pay. This is where all of us come in.
Riverset has named the Pittsburgh Ronald McDonald House our charity of 2012. Throughout the year, we will be collecting pop tabs to donate to the house for sale to scrap yards. Last year the Pittsburgh location alone raised roughly $6,000 from pop tabs. So, we are reaching out to you, our members and partners and asking you to take part in helping this fantastic organization. Please start saving those tabs from your pop, soup or other beverages and bring them to any of our locations for deposit. We will keep track of the amount we've raised throughout the year and keep everyone informed. So, if you're looking for an easy way to give back to the community, here it is!

After a recent volunteerism event, Karen Zimmerman, Community Relations Coordinator for the Bradley Center said "it means the world to these kids to have caring members of the community like Riverset staff that give up precious hours of their time to devote to providing smiles and sunshine into their lives. Please continue to spread the love and hope."
Riverset participates in numerous volunteer inititatives throughout the year in order to make a postive impact in our community. Patrick Flynn discusses our involvement over the last two years with Big Brothers, Big Sisters. Learn more.
