When Christmas morning comes, children can't wait to find what is under the tree. Riverset staff participated in the Salvation Army Angel Tree program and purchased gifts for 30 local children so that they too can have smiles of joy on their faces Christmas morning.
On December 1st, Riverset pledged funds and staff volunteered their time to help feed the homeless and raise awareness for Light of Life Mission. Read all about it and, visit Light of Life's Facebook page today.

Employees of Riverset Credit Union enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship with residents of the Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh, a non-profit organization that provides residential care for adults with autism and intellectual disabilities.
Riverset team members assisted residents at the South Side location with the preparation for two for upcoming fundraising events to benefit Emmaus – their annual golf outing and the Black and Gold Bash. Team members helped create decorative auction items, prepare raffle tickets and more. Read the whole story here!

“Our hopeful mission, by annually organizing the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance, is to provide a positive and forward-looking way for Americans and others to forever honor and remember the 9/11 victims, survivors and the many that rose in service in response to the 9/11 tragedy including first responders, recovery workers, volunteers, public safety workers and members of our military.” Those are the words as stated by the founders of www.911day.org in their annual observation of the anniversary of 9/11. Riverset Credit Union employees took this to heart by collecting food and sundries and even baking their own items to provide to the firefighters of Engine 24 of the City of Pittsburgh. Employees rose to the occasion to honor those that work so hard to protect us as citizens. They delivered the goods, as well as a $100 gift card to Giant Eagle, to a group of very appreciate firefighters, who in turn treated the employees to a tour and fire safety information.
